The Civic Scholars Club was created to combat the negative perception around politics due to the current turmoil. Sloane and CSC's goal is to remove the "drama" and reality show like view of government to break down the basics. Unbiased and nonpartisan lessons are crucial for the next generation to understand the role of government as well as their role in democracy.
Sloane Fiverson is a senior at Morristown Beard School. She founded CSC to share her passion for politics and government and encourage the next generation of young Americans. Sloane believes that "democracy is an opportunity to join the wider community of our nation, and participation in civics is a key aspect and freedom of American life."
